Lizzie Pannill Fletcher, Democratic Candidate for Texas’ 7th District, Raises Over $500,000 in Q1 of 2018
Houston, Texas – Democratic primary runoff candidate Lizzie Pannill Fletcher released a preliminary summary of her fundraising numbers in the first quarter of the 2018 calendar year.
Fletcher announced she:
“I am honored by the outpouring of support and proud of the hard work of our team,” Fletcher said. “This campaign has been, and will continued to be, powered by Houstonians who are ready to unseat John Culberson and to fight back against the dangerous Trump agenda in Washington.”

In the primary election March 6, Fletcher won 96 out of the 143 TX-07 precincts where Democrats cast ballots. Out of 34,211 ballots, she received 9,768 votes (or 29.36% of the vote) and finished first in the early vote, absentee ballot vote, and Election Day vote.
Fletcher is a candidate in the Democratic primary runoff election for Texas’ 7th Congressional District, a district that Hillary Clinton carried in the 2016 election. She has been endorsed by the Houston Chronicle, as well as EMILY’s List, a leading national organization dedicated to electing pro-choice Democratic women to office. Lizzie is the first female partner at AZA, a Houston law firm where she has represented Houstonians from all walks of life, helping them find solutions to complex problems, and she has been recognized by her peers as one of the ‘Best Lawyers in America’ in U.S. News and World Report. She co-founded Planned Parenthood Young Leaders in 2000 and currently serves on the boards of directors for Writers in the Schools (WITS) and Open Dance Project.
